Version 1.0b
The first beta release is out!
Since working on the game some more, I settled on building it around a mythical setting I worked on some thirty or so years ago. This is the same "ancients" setting I was aiming for, just with a twist or two. I've also started work on the narrative side of things, particularly decision steps in scenarios. Finally, I've started work on the campaign, with some nifty maps I'm putting together with Inkarnate.
This is a beta release. If you want to help, feel free to download it, read it, point out the spelling mistakes and glaring flaws in the rules and let me know. I've not included any unit tokens yet (coming soon, watch this space for updates) so I suggest using colours D6s to also track unit Strength. This should be, however, everything you need to play through the first scenario (included), Betrayal at Birsay.

28/04/2025 - I've updated the attachment with a minor amendment to the rules text for Hindered units, which was well-intentioned but confusing.
